This is a full day workshop in which you will learn how to transfrom a simple dining chair into a beautiful piece of furniture you will be proud to show off..
We will start the day by prepping our chairs (which we will provide). We will show you how to clean and sand the frame and how to remove the old fabric on the seat pad. If you’ve not used an electric sander before, we will show you exactly what to do. We will then take some time to choose the best colour of paint to match the fabric you will use to reupholster the seat pad (you will need to provide the piece of fabric but we do have some spares if you need any). We will then paint the chair frames and replacce the fabric on the seat pads.
Tea, coffee, and biscuits are provided. You will need to bring your lunch and your piece of fabric.
